I have a guest in the house who has been reading from the sites for awhile. He flew down from Sweden last night and we talked for about half an hour before he retired.
Since I have relocated to Europe almost ten years ago I have lived as a near recluse. I have no close friends around and I see no one socially except at rare moments orchestrated by others. I see the people in my house every day. There are two of them. Weeks may go by without my speaking with another person except to say “Good Day”. It’s the same thing if I am in Italy. I don’t seem to mind. My life goes on inside my head. Regardless of how much social contact any of us have that is still the case. Our lives go on inside our heads.
We give our life whatever meaning it has. Any observer might take away a different impression on the meaning. No one would have all the details. In most cases our lives are mere sketches. We live within an outline of constantly changing features. Many people sit in the sunset of their lives and often wonder who the events they remember happened to. What really happened is altered by imagination and the limitations of memory. Very often we know no more about ourselves at the end than we did at the beginning. We define ourselves by the situations and environments we encountered or passed through. We see ourselves in the context of our family and friends as well as our occupations and interests. These may define portions of the personality we traveled in but they do not define us. What we are very often remains a mystery.
We can’t account for choices we made and actions we took. Of course we have theories and opinions but the answer very often lies in the places we were not inclined to look.
My guest was talking about events in the wider world and one particular piece of information he had encountered recently. In respect of this he said, “Well, this depresses me. If it’s true then we’re screwed aren’t we?” When I heard this, I experienced a series of impressions which leads me to my subject for the day. It’s about the world inside our heads and the things we tell ourselves which affects our climate. We have internal weather just like the weather that Nature brings us through her annual course. What we think about ourselves and the world beyond is what determines the weather we have; our personal weather and what Nature brings us too. It is the collective consciousness of the people that determines what Nature gives us. Many people would argue about the latter. It’s too esoteric a concept. I live in Esoterica so, for me, it makes perfect sense.
My guest presented me with some details that he had read at one of the blogs about an historical event. Some reader had laid the blame for this event at the door of an extremely wealthy and influential family. I considered what he told me and thought about it in relation to the timeline. It happened to be a period of history I have a certain familiarity with. It took only a short period of time for me to reject the assumption he had made based on something someone else had said. His believing it to be true affected his personal climate. His world, my world and your world are all the result of what we believe is true and very often what we believe to be true is not true at all.
When we believe things which are not true we empower them. They can become increasingly more real as time passes. It is safe to say that many people are living in a complete hallucination. It is also safe to say that many of these hallucinations are manufactured by agencies and entities that profit from the public’s propensity for hallucination.
I thought about the way my mind works when I am confronted by concretized belief and opinions and then I saw a momentary flash of the beauty of, “I don’t know”. You might well ask, “How can you say you don’t know when you were able to assume that the information under discussion was not real”? The thing is, “I don’t know” is a lot more than it appears to be. Just because I can analyze something and encounter errors in the presentation, does not mean that I know what really happened. I do not need to know what really happened to know that what I am being told is wrong. Knowing at a fundamental level that I do not know also gives me a fundamental awareness that others do not know either. Quite often what people think they know is no more than a belief in a particular perspective that, ironically, serves and/or benefits them in some way. Quite often what we believe is not based on any actual knowledge but rather upon what we want to believe. It’s a rare bird who is after the truth simply to know the truth, whatever that may be.
If people would take the trouble to look deeply into what they believe and be honest with themselves they would soon find that much of what they believe and think they know does not exist.
There’s a reason I’m talking about this. It has to do with a valuable benefit that we can accrue to ourselves if we will do the necessary work. I can see that the world is screwed up due to a proliferation of self-interest and the force of a materialistic age. I can see this but... I don’t know what it means except to say that it’s all for the purpose of demonstration. Life is nothing more than a demonstration whose purpose is to show us something and it shows us over and over again. We could have understood long ago but our self-interest is in conflict with reality.
While the world may well be screwed up, my life is not and I’m not the Lone Ranger in this department. One can take the view that the world is a very dangerous place and these are perilous times and I could make a good argument for that myself but... I find that my life tends to move in a smooth and unobstructed fashion nearly all of the time. I do not encounter danger. I don’t encounter the things I hear about in the news. I’m not feeding my internal weather generator with information that is created for the purpose of making me, or anyone, insecure and uneasy. I know that everything is under control and that this whole movie is designed for my education and entertainment. I know the stars were set in the sky with me in mind. The whole universe was designed with me and you in mind. It’s all about us. It’s not about anything else or anything that happens and... I don’t know.
We give negative forces power in our lives by believing they have any power to begin with. Here is a simple guideline that, if it is consistently applied, can open an entirely new world for anyone who will take the trouble to practice it. Remind yourself as often as you can remember to do so that, everything is under control. Remind yourself that you do not know. Remind yourself that you fundamentally do not know and that by truly not knowing- whatever you encounter or have under consideration- will reveal itself to you.
You can’t go through your life worrying about what’s on the horizon that may not even be in the horizon. Yes, the world is about to be shaken to the core. This is, in fact, very good news, unless you’ve got major investments in the way it is now. Try to accept that everything has been created and exists with you in mind and that once you can establish the linkup with the guide who accompanies you everywhere; whether you know it or not, that you will be shown the meaning of things as they apply to you. It really is all about you. It’s just not all about you the way certain personalities think it is when they’re riding the big wave and looking in the mirror.
Obtaining the living conviction of “I don’t know” frees you from the consequences of the unreal which will surely come upon you in order to ‘free you’ from the false beliefs that imprison you. If you don’t know, then a certain very powerful something does know. If you know, then... that powerful something does not. It’s the choice of only two possibilities of a relationship with something that cannot be comprehended but can certainly be trusted with your life and all that it contains. I don’t care how many options and possibilities you may think you see. There are only two. You go with the cosmic program or you are in some way or fashion in opposition to it and it’s going to reveal that to you as an object lesson. Everything is under control by this powerful something unless... you decide to take over and... well... that’s life.
It’s a good thing to remember that angels were created to ‘serve’ us. If our lives are screwed up it’s because we put ourselves in charge and relied on the general information of commonly shared belief. We have no idea what is and what is not. Make “I don’t know” a part of your being and accept that it is all under control and I’m thinking someone might well show you what is and what is not.

I will just share 2 succinct memories that popped into my mind when I read you post.
The first was when I was a kid and I would always tell my mother 'I don't care' when she asked something, used to frustrate her to no end and she eventually came back with 'Well what do you care about?' in a very unhappy tone. When I was a kid though for whatever reason, nothing ever seemed important enough to care about one way or the other.
The other memory was when I was in grad school and I was supposed to become an expert in my field. Well many of my answers to many questions were, 'I don't know'. This really doesn't fly well in academia. Needless to say that experience ended in the lesson of failure.

My last statement to him was: then, by all means, get on with it already. Kill yourselves off.
The conflicts over there are, of course, no different then the conflicts over here. The factions here have different names and are not divided by country, per se. But, it is the same game. I think the only thing that really kept me alive was the use of psychedelics since the late sixties.
Granted, a lot of my friends who went to the needle etc. are dead now, and I did veer by using Vitamin K, and MDMA (in a therapeutical setting, trying to overcome preadolescent sexual abuse), and heroin as well, but that is long past. With LSD or psilocybin or MDMA in large doses, as you know, you could just 'see' the lie on the carnival barker on his/her face before they ever moved their lips. After I gave up using them (after you get the message hang up the phone) I found this ability stuck with you. And then you get an ability to "intuit things." It's all strange to me, and who knows how it works, but K and MDMA are really strong in this regard.

I guess it all comes from being abused by my uncle, I simply dont trust adults. I still have the medicine and will dispense it if I ever go to Italy. I am not a liar. A wonder maybe I got it this far.

Well he knows he can't straighten'em there. It's too small a place to want to hang everybody up. So the Nazz backed away a little bit and he look at these cats and these kitties and he say, "Come on, babies. Let's cut on out down the pike." And there went the Nazz, with these five thousand cats and kitties a stompin' up a storm. Behind them there's a great love river joy, it's goin' like a great chain through these gorgeous cats and kitties as they're swingin' along in the beat of the Nazz and the birds are flyin' on one side and singin' love songs to these cats and kitties and there's a great jubilee of love. And the Nazz talkin' about how pretty the hour, how pretty the flower, how pretty you, how pretty me, how pretty the tree. Nazz had them pretty eyes. He wanted everybody to see with his eyes and see how pretty it was. And they're havin' such a glorious swingin' time that before you know it they were forty-two miles out of town and ain't nobody got the first biscuit.
So the Nazz look at them cats and kitties and he say "You hungry ain't ya babies?"
And the cat say, "Yea Nazz, say we's diggin' so hard what you puttin' down, heh-heh, we didn't prepare, say we goofed."

Specifically, what kind of benefits and what kind of quantity must be consumed to achieve said benefits? Are we talking pharmaceutical doses or is my 2 kg of BS per day enough?

For those of you wondering why I consume so much BS, it's because I want to be healthy but I just can't live without my weekly large, all dressed pizza with extra bacon and a 6 pack (or 2) to wash it down.
Consuming copious quantities of BS allows me to have my cake and eat it too, so to speak, because 2 kg of BS is only 940 calories and BS has more protein than almost any other vegetable besides green peas (which is technically a legume) so you can easily make it until dinner without the hunger pangs which would come with trying to live off any other veggie.
Dinners and Sundays I eat WTF I want but I don't look at all like a couch potato.
If any of you are trying to lose weight or not gain back any weight that you've lost I highly recommend you give this BS diet a shot.
For best results, BS should be steamed, not creamed.

I love this article more than you can know, or then again, maybe you are uniquely qualified to do so. I have always considered this one of my more abnormal abnormalities, and have been reluctant to acknowledge it. Your article let me understand that, not only is not abnormal, but that everyone lives their lives there. Albeit, some more than others, but we all do.
Do you talk to yourself a lot Les? my wife, along with others are constantly asking me who I'm talking to, and even though I have some awareness that I am doing it, I have never really acknowledged how much. I guess it's time to come clean and just tell them. It's the man inside my head dear!
I love epiphany. With all the examination that goes on inside my head of almost everything I learn, I have never examined the process of examining everything inside my head. The myriad scenarios that play out on a stage that only I can see. The vigorous discussions I have of the pros and cons of the subjects du jour.
I understand that recluse thing very well, and unlike so many that I know, I do very well all by myself. There are times when I actually prefer it. That quiet time to lose myself in the vast cavern of possibility my mind has become. It's amazing the wilderness of discovery one can create within, with those three magic words. The real life equivalent of abra cadabra, I don't know. Every time I am able to say those words, even if only inside my own head, new doors of discovery appear.
I still struggle with certain concepts, which by the very nature of concepts, all takes place inside my mind. However, having struggled with concepts before to a point of resolution, I don't know which I enjoy more, the struggle or the resolution...but...where was I..ah, concepts. Like where I fit in the big picture of life. I don't even know if I'm supposed to fit into the picture. Is this ride of life a roller coaster or a drive on a complex highway system. Is it all predetermined or do we have a choice of, not only where we go, but some influence over where others go as well. Sometimes I get the feeling that life shows us what's on the page, and after reading it we get this huh? look on our face, and life slaps us in the face with the page and says read it again. Are we on the verge of turning the page or another slap and re read. I don't know, but ain't it great. So much to learn and so little time, or is there too much? (grin)

Get out of my head, man -grin- Yeah, something very similar to this discourse on the nature of belief, reality, the mind and the cosmos was going through my head not too long ago, a particularly strong current of inner dialogue around the same time this beautiful discourse was posted (if my leaky recollection is remotely correct).
I've been saying for a while now, when people ask me what my plans are: I don't make plans. No point. Universe is much smarter than I am, I tell them, so why should I try and out-think it? I can offer qualitative mathematical proofs for why this is impossible, and thus futile. Makes a lot more sense to me to just sort of flow with whatever Universe is doing. Because then you're not acting with whatever feeble force you can muster, but with the backing of the entire goddamn everything.
Of course you sort of have to take it on faith that the Universe really is an active, conscious entity, that it's not all just the random motions of particles colliding into each other. This is the sticking point for most people, I think, and without this faith it's virtually impossible to trust to the flow of the Tao. With it, and it gets easier every day until eventually you and it are inseparable, consciously so and then ... the world just sort of melts open....

I was set on a quest to seek you out after reading recent tomes from the Time Monks. I ultimately found the Sirius Canine at the smoldering reflections blog and have spent the last two days reading your posts at both that site and here in Visible Origami - going back to early spring of this year.
I feel as though I have finally found the source of wisdom that I have been long in seeking, and that will eventually guide me through the process of resolving some of the questions I have had about the deeper issues faced in life. I have felt since I was in grade school that I was put here on this planet for a specific purpose. It took about 35 years between there and when I woke up about 2 years ago. I have been on a quest since my awakening to find some Truth about both; the nature of the force behind most of the problems being faced by mankind and the true nature of God and how I am supposed to serve his will. I truly believe that your posts are divinely inspired and will at least help guide my quest for answers to these and other questions.
I also believe that I have something important to either share with you or show you - which, I am not sure of and when I have no idea of either - soon I think, 'cause time is short.
This I can say for sure - your words are going to be heard by a large portion of the planet in the coming months and the more those words are heard the greater the negative feedback will be towards you from TPTB. Unfortunately for them they do not realize that just as you cannot get blood from a stone you also cannot silence the Truth or the Word. As you have rightly pointed out there are far too many MBA guru's and preachers in the world and as time has accelerated those with eyes have come to realize that the message coming from those of their ilk is not the true Word but a a false version of it, intended to enslave those that listen. This false message is a very sinister deception, and ultimately it is deadly to those that are deceived to believe it is the Truth.
I think I read in a comment here something to the effect that prophets come in mysterious and unexpected forms. I am convinced you are a manifestation of that observation.
Beware of temptation, seek the Truth and spread the Word.

I might mention here since someone posted about various concoctions for depression I have known people who did fine on SAM-E. It can be purchased in health food stores or Seventh Day Adventist stores even.
It is a natural substance which speeds up production of DNA in the bone marrow and consequently leads toward production of more serotonin. SAM-E is what your body is trying to produce anyway, why not help it along?
New studies are also showing that trytophan HTTP and Noni supplements work as well as pharma drugs which most of them are aspartame based.
Aspartame is the same neurotoxin in soft drinks. They say Michael J. Fox drank around 12 of these a day and look what it did to him.
I am not a doctor but many people have just decided to try and help themselves these days. Many docs receive bonuses for how much of certain products they prescribe.
The whole situation is a bit nasty if you ask me. They call for MRIs and so forth which are barium based. Nobody knows what barium does but it penetrates the blood brain barrier and it is supposedly contained in the chemtrails also.
Anyone having trouble along these lines it might be wise to keep away from cell phones and have a few crystals in your home to convert sounds waves back to something around 800 hrz. Crystals resonate at Schauberger resonance which is the natural frequency of the earth.

I know you are one of the good guys but I suspect that you do not suffer depression. I have the clinical version. You might even call it existential despair but it hurts like a motherfucker in a sort of no way out no exit kind of way and I have taken every chemical I have heard of to address it but only K addresses it. And the proof in this which also has to do with my work is this. It has become unobtainable. I can get every other chemical on earth but not this one. That is proof of my contention but the Dog Poet will howl.

Les I don't have depression other than the normal kind of watching what the world is coming to but I know people who have had it. I have seen SAM-E work. It is all a matter of producing enough serotonin.
I am talking about people very close to me also, close enough that I have done a lot of looking into what is going on with it.
You don't see a lot of this in the east because there is no attempt to poison people with aluminum cookware, aspartame, teflon and the list goes on as you well know.
The body works on energy same as a computer or electrical appliance. The energy must be transferred. What works for machines works for the ultimate machine. It seems people are under attack from all different directions these days and another one of them is wifi and cellphone towers as well as chemtrails.
I don't use cell phones but they have stuck a wifi tower right on top of me. You can't sell a house these days either. Looking into it you probably have about six years before cancer clusters set in so I am not sure how long I will be around.
A petition of 68 home owners I put together saying they didn't want it did not phase them down at the podunk city hall. There (technical expert) would not even come out to receive it. I left it with the secretary.

Never underestimate the damage a cellphone of wifi can do as far as sending people into depression either. Those frequencies replace natural earth resonance. Microwave can definitely produce depression.
Before I retired a they gave us cellphones. I would get in the car and my partner would sometimes ask did you bring your cell phone? I always told him yours is good enough I am not into brain cancer and he would just laugh.
Shortly after I retired he had to also, tumor of the brain right beside the ear where he kept the phone. He had to learn to walk all over again after it was cut out. Interesting article. A lot of people feel they just HAVE to be right, no matter what. They'lle argue at the drop of a hat with anyone who makes an assertion in their presence.
It's how to respond to such folks I find a bit puzzling. It depends on my mood, sometimes I'll say "Well, that's your opinion", other times I'll say "Think what you like" or maybe I'll just be silent. Once in awhile I'll play the game and make effort to if not convince then overwhelm the person with information.
One time I got an interesting response. I asked the person I had a difference with to explain why he felt a need to debate or argue about something that I knew he, mostly, agreed with me on. He said "Sometimes I could use being convinced when I'm not totally sure"
Maybe sometimes some people who claim to know are also saying, in an unspoken way, that they want or could use being persuaded otherwise?
Not sure what kind of turn we took there? I have found over the years that 99.9% of the people going around explaining how to be illuminated or enlightened are never enlightened themselves.
I have met and read hundreds of them. They can tell you how it is supposed to be done but it seems it hasn't worked for them yet.
I am going to break ranks here and say just one thing on the subject. The best course on enlightenment is talk to somebody who is and ask them how best to go about it. You will usually find these types in a temple.
I have a copy of the Gita also but it is just a book nothing more, a very special one but nevertheless a book.

The Bhagavad Gita, quite properly, is also considered a deity.
One day, after the Pandavas had defeated the Kauravas in the Battle of Kurukshetra, Arjuna was riding on his chariot with his friend, Sri Krishna. They were riding through some gardens by the bank of the Yamuna. Arjuna had, however, developed some pride: ‘I am very wise. Krishna personally imparted this gita-jnana (wisdom of the Gita) to me.’ He had developed some pride in his heart.
Krishna, being the Supersoul in the hearts of all living beings, understood that Arjuna had developed some pride. Krishna will not tolerate pride in the heart of His devotee. If he detects that his devotee has developed pride, He smashes that devotee’s pride. That is His mercy.
As they were passing the Yamuna, they noticed a jackal moving around. Out of pride, Arjuna made some derogatory remarks: ‘That jackal is a great fool. He is moving around that dead body, simply sniffing, but not eating it. If some dogs come now, he will run away. He is a fool, bereft of knowledge.’ Krishna stopped the chariot and summoned the jackal. The jackal came. Krishna asked the jackal, ‘O jambuka (jackal), the body of this dead human is your food. Why are you circling this body and not eating it?’ The jackal replied, ‘O my Lord, You are all-knowing. What shall I say? Even though this is my food, I still have some discrimination over what I eat and won’t eat.’ Krishna said, ‘You have some discrimination?’ The jackal replied, ‘Yes.’ ‘What is that’, asked Lord Krishna. The jackal said, ‘Since You are asking, my Lord, I will answer. From the smell of his legs, I can tell if this human being ever walked to Jagannath Puri Dhama, Vrindavan or Mayapur. By smelling his hands, I can tell if this person ever offered puja, worship, to Sri Bhagavan or not. From smelling his eyes, I can tell whether or not this person ever saw a sadhu or the Deity in the Temple. By smelling his head, I can understand if this person ever bowed down to a Vaishnava or Deity. By smelling his ears, I can tell if he ever heard krishna-katha. It is by scent that I can tell all of these things. If he has not performed any of these activities, I won’t eat such impure food. And, if one or more of his limbs – a hand, a leg, or an ear – has performed some devotional act, then I will eat only that portion.’ The jackal then said, ‘My Lord, I am in the body of a beast. My consciousness is very covered. I cannot perform any dharma. The only piety I can perform is by eating.’
Lord Krishna said to the jackal, ‘O jambuka, all glories to you. You are My devotee.’ On hearing these words, Arjuna was amazed. ‘This jackal has such knowledge. I was thinking myself to be a great jnani and a great bhakta, but this jackal is greater than I am!
In this way, Krishna smashed Arjuna’s pride because Arjuna is his dear devotee.
