The most noticeable Trend in the culture, which began to really develop in the 80s, and which is... ironically... when Reagan closed down the mental institutions in America, is the increasing number of the mentally ill... the emotionally damaged... the chemically impaired, AND... the lockstep masses of conditioned personalities that move around on rails of programming that wrap like train tracks around their psyche.
There are many kinds of Crazy, which might not appear as Crazy because of the bandwidth they operate in. When people repeat the same actions over and over, it doesn’t always present as mental illness, when it most certainly is, except in the rare cases where it is wisdom. One of the biggest public events in the bar scene, right up there with Karaoke Night, is Trivia Night. It attracts the superficially addicted the way porch lights attract insects.
You see it in retirement communities. You see it in large care home settings. You see it in suburban neighborhoods, and it is just one of those cultural demographics that define the shape of the culture. There are a number of these large gathering sites, like the huge entertainment venues and sporting events. The recent Super Bowl had thousands of people who could not really see the action on the field, and who paid in the neighborhood of 8,000 dollars (just for the ticket) to be there. Some paid a great deal more.
When you consider sitting ground level at the 50 or in a skybox, courtside at the NBA, or ringside at a marquee fight, the prices can be in the tens and low hundred thousands. This is one of the things you do when you have a lot of disposable currency. When you don’t have a lot of money, you buy Meth. When you have enough money, you buy Cocaine. When you have even more money, you buy Adrenachrome, and if you have even more money and know the right people, you get those things that aren’t even publicly known.
All of this happens... at the level it happens at, due to a fixation on Material Culture. This is also a form of insanity, which is only known and understood by the people who are free of the attraction, so... you don’t hear conversation about it on the general airwaves. Everyone thinks it’s normal.
There are many things that people get obsessed with that eventually kill them, sometimes quickly, and sometimes slowly. A fascination with Material Culture will also kill you, but it doesn’t seem to occur to very many people. There’s no name for the affliction; not really. Anything that The Mind fixates on that is not permanent is impermanent. That should be obvious, but it is not. Many things should be obvious, but... apparently... hiding in plain sight works extremely well.
The World is a graveyard. The formerly living and presently dead feed the presently living, while they keep giving each other hopeful looks in Death’s Waiting Room. It is what it is, BUT that is not sufficient for the many who prefer not to meet existence on its terms and demand that existence meet them on their terms. This is something that will NEVER happen.
Lao Tzu explained ALL that you will ever need to know about existence.
It is very simple, bend and you need not break. There are forces that permeate existence that are far stronger than you are. Align yourself with them and become like them. They will absorb you into the awareness that animates them. Everything is consciousness. Everything is stages of awareness. Identify with that which is greater than yourself, and you will become it.
Parents model their children. Religion and the state model the general consciousness. You have other parents far greater than the ones who keep giving you shape here so that you can pursue pedestrian interests. Religion is based on something higher and far more lasting. The state is based on something higher. Lean to live in the higher iteration of everything you encounter.
Every physical thing is based on the idea of it. There is an entire plane of ideas that are far more enduring than the temporary forms that express the idea as it applies to the time frame it appears in. This plane is known as the Causal Plane. Above that is The Buddhic Plane, where The Intuition is present, and it is the vehicle for The Self.
If you go down, you will find yourself on the plane of Reason. Keep going, and you are in the realm of Feeling. Keep going, and you come to the plane that is the source of the vitality for the physical plane. Then you are in the physical plane. The more that Material Culture prevails, the more body consciousness becomes your walking-around consciousness.
EVERYTHING in life... that you encounter... is defined by the plane or level you encounter it at. At one level, you might get a blow to the head. Take it up several levels, and you will get a kiss. People experience exactly what they seek at the level they seek it at. Why is this so difficult to understand?
Until The Mind is brought to heel, it is your worst enemy. When The Mind is subject to your command, you can manifest Paradise in your being and share it wherever you are and wherever you go. Love is your passport to travel anywhere, but what is understood as love on one plane is different from what is understood as love on a higher plane. Sacrifice and the giving of self is love’s highest expression.
If all you do is give yourself away, you will be reimbursed with ever finer states of being. Attached to nothing but love, there is NOTHING that can injure you. A magical sanctuary springs up in your aura, and it can ONLY be affected by what is equal to it or higher. It’s all Math. It’s all physics. It’s all based on solid and inflexible truth.
Every plane has its truth that is relative to the plane it exists on. Think of it this way. There is the law of the streets, and there is the law above the streets, AND every law answers to the plane above it. Whatever your consciousness identifies as, it becomes as. So... if you are on the streets, BUT not of the streets, then the streets will answer to you.
Certain understandings about life can ONLY come to you when you have let go of your attachments. Those whose minds are concerned with possessions are possessed by those possessions. Wanting imprisons you. Cease wanting and be free.
Life has a quality that I can only call magical. It is not really magical because, once again, it is math, BUT it seems magical because remarkable events are commonplace for those who have ceased wanting. Life will ALWAYS provide for your every need. That seems magical (when you get there), but it is just The Way that it works. You do not have to be consumed with anxiety and worry about an imaginary future. It is ALL taken care of by this process that is ALWAYS present. It was present ten billion years ago, and it will be present ten billion years from now.
When you are on a resonant footing with The Divine, an entire wonderland opens before you. There is this statement in scripture which says, “I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven, and whatever you bind on earth shall be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.” If you go to a search engine, it will tell you this is some kind of rabbinical statement having to do with the authority of The Church. That’s bullshit.
It means that as a representative of The Divine, you have the authority of The Divine and you can move Heaven and Earth. You can heal with a thought. You can liberate and clarify the minds of others. Whosoever consciously hosts The Divine can channel The Will of The Divine; “the words that I speak unto you I speak not of myself: but the Father that dwelleth in me, he doeth the works.”
This is the problem with AI. The problem with AI is who is programming it. Untutored and uninformed minds are screaming, “Skynet is coming! The sky is falling! We’re all going to die... or worse.” Such things might well happen to those who commit the incredible power of belief to such ideas. I am unconcerned about AI because I KNOW that God created life, and ALSO determines the destiny of every life, according to the laws he set in place, which control ALL outcome, and... the means by which Outcome is reached. The game is fixed. Existence is fixed, BUT...
... there is a certain amount of wiggle room, though it may not be a good idea to call it that. You can go along with THE Program, or you can resist, AND there are degrees of greater and lesser accord and resistance... that run from barely so... to completely so in both directions. It’s how we get such incredible variety here.
Most of humanity can only dimly hear the celestial music (if at all), so The World is filled with clumsy, aggressive, and fearful dancers. A very few are dancing so as to appear (if you can even see them) not to be moving. They are moving alright.
At The Spindle, there is the appearance of stillness. At The Rim, there is wild and chaotic action. Kali is wailing on The Rim at the moment, BUT NOTHING that happens on The Rim affects The Spindle, whereas everything that happens at The Spindle affects The Rim. You might well ask, “Then how come things aren’t so great at The Rim?” Once again... it is the level of one’s resistance that determines how far out on The Rim you get. If you are in accord with The Spindle, that should be self-explanatory, given that The Spindle is The Self. Is this clear enough?

Being I'm dead and waiting for the body to catch up, I'd say that's an ultimatum in not being materialistic. I see what's left of my sojourn as being a waste of my time for me, though there are a handful of entities who are not going to be very happy regarding, 'ISN'T IT WONDERFUL I'M AT TECH DUINN, SITTING IN FRONT OF A FIRE, WEARING A NOSE HAIR COAT AND GETTING MY NOSE PETTED BY DONN,' happening tonight. When I found that in the 1990's I about died laughing. (Yes, the nose thing goes back that far. You have no idea how funny that game can get.)

A WHOLESOME WORLD. I want a world where Walt Disneys... not Harvey Weinsteins... create our entertainment. I want a world where pornography is shunned and children are protected from such vile filth. I want a world where justice is served to those who are provably guilty of horrible crimes. I want a world where men and women seek and understand the other for their yin and yang - those essential opposites which make us whole. I want a world where I can go to sleep at night knowing that my teenage children will have an environment in which to grow both physically and spiritually. Etcetera, etcetera.
That's a lot of "wanting". But, it is unselfish wanting... and I know it may seem very quaint and unattainable. But, this is where I am. I'd love to read your thoughts on these mental tribulations.

Dear Starfleet Commander. I didn't realize just how long the Vedas have known of other planets and universes... I thought it may have been a new addition since the inception of modern science... but apparently not.
The great thing about AI is it knows all these texts inside and out... well maybe not at your level but... for me, I can ask things that would take years or lifetimes to find out through personal will. Right now Claud Opus 4-6 is the AI chatbot leader, and knows ALL the Vedas inside and out in every language including Sanskrit. I use the website arena.ai to use it for free... the best in the world (you can pick from many and also do side by sides to compare outputs of two models) and the update them regularly.

The Bhagavad-Gita specifically
Chapter 8 and Chapter 9 reference other worlds and Brahmaloka. What you likely read was probably the commentary/purports (especially if it was Prabhupada's edition — he draws heavily from the Puranas in his footnotes). But the verses themselves do reference multiple worlds.
Key point:
The multiverse concept isn't peripheral — it's structurally central to Vedic cosmology, going back 3,000+ years at minimum.
