"The Deeper that Sorrow Carves into your Being, the More Joy you can Contain."

Dog Poet Transmitting.......

As my awareness becomes more and more internalized, the appearance of the world changes dramatically. Some portion of this has to do with the aging process but... more and more it has to do with the result of decisions made and positions held about and in relation to how the world presents itself to me. Both of these are more influenced by the value system in place than by anything else, with the exception of the indwelling ineffable.

I do not have to answer to anyone but God, period. I have arranged it this way and it has been arranged this way, by that to which I have given ever more and more authority over me in everything I think and say and do.

I look out at the world; that part of the world that is immediately around me and composed of the elements of the environment I am in and passing through. I look out at those parts of the world I only connect with through the media, the internet, television and through the imagination. I do not interact with the president, famous people, the super rich and the multitudes of life-forms and seemingly inanimate stage settings, through which they come and go. The animate forms that are around them and are both visible and invisible. The invisible is named as such because it is not perceptible, within the confinements and parameters of the bandwidth of what any person is capable of seeing, due to their state of awareness. Change the awareness and what can been seen and heard and what is otherwise reported to any other sense also changes.

There are people moving about here and there that can see things which the majority of us cannot. Some of them can do this because the parameters of their operational bandwidth are more expanded that the general bandwidth of the majority. Some of them can do this because they are clairvoyant, clairaudient or possess whatever the siddhi is that permits them to see and hear and touch, taste or smell what others cannot. Above every sense we possess is another sense, which can be activated by the performance of certain disciplines, the result of karma where previously they employed (in some other life) these same disciplines, or is the result of grace, where it has been given to them by one in a position to do so. Sometimes people possess these abilities and cannot control them, or their reactions to what they are perceiving and they wind up confined in an institution; talking to someone no one else can see, hearing someone no one else can hear and so on and so forth. Just because someone is talking to someone you cannot see, does not mean that someone is not there.

Many of us are hearing voices in a subliminal manner and are unaware of being spoken to but are no less affected by it. Many of us are being affected by influences which we are unaware of. Many of us envy those who seem to be far more advantaged than the rest of us. We imagine they possess a great deal more freedom in their lives, or enjoy themselves more and are somehow better off than the rest of us and do not realize that these people are very much controlled by forces, which neither they or the rest of us can see. Whatever station of life one may occupy, whatever power or influence one may possess, whatever marvelous fortune anyone is experiencing, IN MOST CASES, is of a temporary nature and how one exercises whatever has come into their possession has everything to do with what is guaranteed to follow, unless grace intercedes.

The whole of life is a panorama of perpetually operating cause and effect. We move about and act upon a stage where lessons are constantly being learned or ignored. There are few greater follies than that of a driving personal will, which imagines that sustained and persistent effort will result in a complete and satisfactory success. One should always remember that the greater the sense of gain, the greater the impending sense of loss. Period. Life is a lifelong school room, a life long basic training exercise, which exists for the purpose of demonstration and EVERYONE stands as an example of 'living proof'' of the actual value and meaning of what they said and did.

For as long as one is 'driven' by desire and appetite to any particular end, one will be a living proof demonstration; the poster boy or girl of what 'that' gets you. Everything one says and does is defined by intention. It could be thought of as 'that which drives you' and it makes ALL the difference further on in terms of the quality of the impact of it on you. You are not only a lesson for anyone else who is aware of you but also a lesson for yourself. Only a fool, in the process of learning just what a fool they are, sets out to do anything that has not been inspired by the divine within and it should be noted that the divine within, inspires EVERYTHING, for whatever the result might be that you were inspired to the acquisition of. The devil is the way the wicked see God. Desire is the agent of God's will.

It's been said that “he who dies with the most toys wins”. This is an age of the celebration of unmitigated contempt for everything of real value and real meaning. Traditional values are out. The whims of the moment are in. Sanity is uncool. Reckless abandon and a frenzy of hedonistic sampling is applauded. Bling is a symbol of having arrived. Fucking and the waste of personal essence, is the direct or indirect object, of the majority of human action. Eating for sensual pleasure and the disregard of all consequences to follow is a pandemic of self indulgence as is, eating as a substitute for feeling the pain of existence, with the result of ever greater levels of pain, while the pain of feeling will often lead to insights into the nature of one's own being. As Gibran said;

“Your joy is your sorrow unmasked. And the selfsame well from which your laughter rises was oftentimes filled with your tears. And how else can it be? The deeper that sorrow carves into your being, the more joy you can contain. Is not the cup that holds your wine the very cup that was burned in the potter's oven? And is not the lute that soothes your spirit, the very wood that was hollowed with knives? When you are joyous, look deep into your heart and you shall find it is only that which has given you sorrow that is giving you joy. When you are sorrowful look again in your heart, and you shall see that in truth you are weeping for that which has been your delight.”

Here is the rest of that and access to a great deal more.

A rampant and shared, relentlessly progressive insanity, is the offspring of Materialism. Materialism is applied Satanism. Look at the world around you. Observe through reflective hindsight the direction taken by the culture over recent decades. Observe how liberty is most widely appreciated as license. Observe how true values are subverted for the celebration of diversity and the tolerance of every new perversity that appears. Should you object, you are labeled as intolerant and God help you if you are employed in any theater of enterprise, where morality is determined by those who employ you. Morality these days is a ship that has sailed. The spread of insanity is reaching epidemic proportions. The reality of runaway delusion is beyond what is generally realized. The rise of pathologies as a reaction to the pain of feeling, in tandem with the eradication of personal discipline is an unfortunate wonder to behold. While people are exercising their freedom to live for the sensations of the moment, tomorrow is becoming a thing of the past (grin... but not really).

The amount of people obsessed with self importance, born of a perpetual insecurity, an unbridled appetite to eat the very worst food available, sexual desires growing increasingly more perverse as the access to the experience rings more and more hollow and unsatisfying; the aggregate number of persons obsessed with one thing or another is startling, when seen by a mind capable of analyzing the state of the present and the coming impact of all of them arriving at a collective crisis point.

This morning I was speaking to the divine and I said, “I know you are aware of actions I could take, or avoid that would very quickly bring me to a much finer state of being, if only I could see what I need to see and if you could directly, or indirectly, bring it to my attention, I would be immensely grateful.” Hardly had the moment passed when he replied and told me that it is a very simple matter for me to accelerate my spiritual evolution and all I had to do was to bring a greater intensity to my pursuit. All I had to do was to make it apparent that NOTHING else had anything near the force of this attraction. A greater detail was entered into and I was shown where my behavior on any given day could become more directed and focused than it presently is. It then dawned on me that these were the things I had been putting my attention to and that my asking as I did, was provoked for the opportunity to inform me of the importance of these efforts, lest I regress in my enthusiasm ...and also to remind me that I could bring an even greater enthusiasm to it.

Nothing on this Earth is of any relative importance, by comparison to the exercise of the greatest commandment and which is called the greatest commandment for that very reason. This is more easily translated into one's life than might be immediately apparent. One simply puts a particular type of attention on everything they think and say and do. One discovers the value of impersonal awareness and the profound effect of selfless actions, manifesting out of a compelling love. You are already doing all kinds of things but the reasons for this may vary. One should attribute the same reason to ALL thought, speech and action. To love what one does is to guarantee a joyful result to one's endeavor. Therefore one should ONLY do what one loves and love all that one does by acting as if the divine were the one doing whatever it is through us. There is only one source of power in the universe so, in a sense this is already true, only lacking in the awareness of it.

These are perilous times, surely perilous for one's physical presence, as one negotiates the uncertain terrain of the times. Far more important are the spiritual implications of the hour. Don't know what to do or where to go? Ask the one who knows everything and remember you are where you are for a reason and ALL PRAYERS ARE ANSWERED, one way or another. “According to your faith is it done unto you.” In times of dreadful material darkness, the possibilities of being led into the light, or finding the interior light switch, increase dramatically in proportion to degree of difficulty. Yet it is not difficult at all and child's play (when considering the meaning of 'becoming like a little child') for one who knows how to allow the one whose powers are limitless to act through them.

God is REAL, more real than anything that has ever been. If you persist in the effort to make contact, it WILL occur. I personally know this to be true. One quite simply must want this more than anything else and remember (though this is secondary to anyone who understands the value of being in the presence of the divine) “But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.” … right use ness. Sin and imperfection are just the byproducts of bad aim, as well as not making 'right-use'. There's nothing wrong with any of the normal things we engage in. It is 'the way we engage in them' and the intention involved. I've little use for any of the usual activities that enchant, entrance and attract us ...but I did. I did until I found something far, far, far more enjoyable, far more lasting and with a truly extended shelf life.

End Transmission.......

Hello, I am an old man who has enjoyed a long and storied life at sea. I am a proud Canadian who has traveled a peculiar path lo these many years. And after eons of oceanic adventure, I find myself a landlubber, with Manitoba as my final port. I know I do not wish to spend my remaining years alone in a giant house. Not when I have such stories to share. So to this end, I'm offering a room for rent in my stately woodland home. This arrangement will be free of charge, providing you to perform the simple household chores I can no longer tend to from the confines of this accursed wheelchair. But though I may be old, I have lived. And I will tell you all about my many adventures in vivid detail.

It's not that I don't notice the distinct possibility of trolling going on with the 'I identify with you' comments and followups. I am quite certain I am aware of a great deal more than you think so... we'll see. I'm simply indicating I am not asleep at the switch. Nor am I powerless to call out to certain invisible friends as certain readers of this blog know to be true. Perhaps one of them will call on you.

I don't comment often and can't remember when last I did. I am sure it was after the time of the blog entry I have come to mention. A member of the Catholic Church is drawing attention to the word Holocaustianity which I remember you coined a long time ago. It's just one of many you have brought into the common parlance, though I doubt most people are aware of this or any of the other examples. It's to your credit that you never bring attention to these things and reminds me of what you said about your songs and their not being heard at a larger reach. You said you asked God about it and he asked you for whom you had written them and you said that they were, for the most part, for him. You said his reply was, "Well, I heard them." That never fails to make me laugh. I'm thinking a visit is in order this year.

Dear Visible,

You spread flowers of victorious living as you stroll and dance along your way!

All the gems you have have gathered are included like cherries in the pie!

Resonant with this one:

Everything one says and does is defined by intention. It could be thought of as 'that which drives you'

and:

One simply puts a particular type of attention on everything they think and say and do. One discovers the value of impersonal awareness and the profound effect of selfless actions, manifesting out of a compelling love.

We all receive the benefits of your bouncing into many situations and being backstopped by the One.

Something is building to a climax here!
Hopefully, it is Mr Apocalypse's actions at the behest of the One and our heart's desire for justice and peace!

The One in you is the One in us, all of us who know we have souls!

Peter, come come now. Michael A. Hoffman II coined that phrase.

To friends seen and unseen, I greet you with a joyful chorus!

"There has to be an invisible sun
That gives its heat to everyone
There has to be an invisible sun
It gives us hope when the whole day's done."

In light of tremendous personal pain coupled with empathy for the seen and unseen suffering of others. I have no choice but to get goofy. A Ratha Yatra of village people. Elephants, jugglers, fire-breathers. Hasidic Jews linking arms with Sannyasins, Buddhist Monks, Jesuits, and Mennonites. Atheists doing backflips while an Amish chorus line chants in unison.

"But you, GOT. TO. KNOW. THIS. ONE THING!
NO man, does it all by himself.
I said, young man.
Put your pride on the shelf!
And just GO THERE!
To the YHVH.
I'm sure HE. CAN. HELP. YOU. TODAY!

BAM! BAM! BAM! BAM! BAM!

It's fun to pray to the YHVH.
It's fun to pray to the YHVH.

He's got all the right rules!
He's got all the right toys!
And he circumscribed half the goys!

It's fun to pray to the YHVH.
It's fun to pray to..."

Forgive me for that.

Vis, a nice column, especially with the seen/unseen aspects. Very important. Thanks!

Vis: “This morning I was speaking to the divine and I said, 'I know you are aware of actions I could take, or avoid that would very quickly bring me to a much finer state of being, if only I could see what I need to see and if you could directly, or indirectly, bring it to my attention, I would be immensely grateful.'”

I use a kind of shorthand of your above, tailored for on-the-go situations. When a choice of actions is impending, I quickly get in touch with Higher Self (or whatever term suits someone) and assert, "Best and Highest" (with the implied affirmation that HS & all-God have the final say). Often, I feel a quite palpable change in energy. Then, a new 'option' for the situation appears. What is cool is that it almost always is a Win-Win type of 'solution'...

Best Wishes,
Ray B.
