The Costumed Self in the Temporary World of Time.

Dog Poet Transmitting.......

Let’s carry on with some of what I was talking about on last night’s radio show, which, last time I looked, wasn’t available for download yet but... it will be. Everything your senses report as a tangible item that your senses recognize as having weight, consistency, dimension and all the things that make something appear to be real in the temporary, kingdom of time came out of the mind. They are all thoughts in extension, having precipitated down from the realm of ideas into the realm of designs; shapes and types through the world of physical processes and finally it’s there in front of you, under you, above you or wherever it is in this place we call ‘here’.

Senses have a bandwidth and, as I have mentioned before, you can learn a great deal by studying bandwidths. There’s a chart around somewhere that shows the bandwidth of different rays; x-rays, gamma rays and a whole lot of other rays with the exception of sting rays and James Earl Ray. This bandwidth limitation of the senses is a big problem for a lot of people because it limits them to what can be perceived in that bandwidth of the senses. It closes out an awareness of the metaphysical and, when it doesn’t, it leaves it in the hands of the imagination, which is too often untrained, false self serving and fanciful, to say the least.

Self proclaimed rational people, which generally include those people who think they know a lot, have some pretty strong and concrete ideas about what they can’t see. They damn well know it doesn’t exist or they damn well know that it’s whatever they say it is, based on something they read or heard, which justifies and proves their world view, without justifying or proving anything.

Due to many years of working with and studying in occult (that means ‘hidden’ and doesn’t spell “Hail Satan” backwards) disciplines, I have developed what are called super sensory capabilities. What this means is that atop every ordinary physical sense are higher senses that open when they are stimulated, according to certain processes and applications of focus, concentration and effort. I’m not the Lone Ranger here. Many Hermetic scientists, yogis, mystics and the like, have accomplished this too and to a much greater degree that myself. Out of this come powers like clairvoyance, clairaudience, clairsentience and telepathy, to name a few.

My efforts in this area have been assisted by psychedelic voyages and states of externally enforced and self-enforced periods of confinement and removal from the normal world of whatever it is you people call normal. So, like it says in one of my recent, as yet unrecorded tunes, “How do I know that this is the truth; because I am living proof?”

There are two types of people on this planet; of course there are many types but for the sake of my present argument in progress, there are two. There are people who believe that they possess a separated mind that is their own (in a world of millions of other separated minds) and who may have an intellectual awareness that there really is only one mind and... there are those who have a visceral awareness that there is only one mind.

Every one of us is a creator, a magician of sorts, who manifests things in the same way that masters of the art do. It may be slower in manifestation and it may not look like what they thought they were going to get but the methodology is the same. Most people don’t believe any of this because they are really bad at it. Others don’t believe it because they do not have the patience to await the natural pace of the outcome. Others move on to something else and when it shows up they don’t recognize it or don’t want it any more; too bad about that part of it.

I’ve said it many times, “Adam translated means, ‘namer of things’. As you identify something and attribute value and terms like ‘good’ and ‘bad’ to it, so it becomes in your universe. You made it what it is and now you own it. This is another reason why, “I don’t know” is one of the best mantras you can ever apply to your life. Unknowing eventually removes your erroneous labels to the things you identified in states of former ignorance and which now imprison you in a false world that runs counter to the eternal verities of the real world.

Take yourself to the point that it dawns on you that you really do not know, period ...and see what happens. Once again we are talking about visceral apprehension, as opposed to intellectual understanding. The power that is to be gained from achieving a visceral awareness that you do not know is immeasurable and the freedom is beyond anything you can presently imagine. You also get the force and awareness of the one mind solidly behind you in all things. This is the real meaning of that Biblical phrase, “You must become as a little child”.

The more you think you know and the more solidly rooted you are in being definite about being wrong; the more weight time has on you. Under certain circumstances you can find yourself in an actual prison or in any of the variety of prisons people inhabit all around you every day. You could wind up working for the government or masquerading as a priest of some sort or another. Take a deep and penetrating look around you and see how many of your fellows are locked in a prison, alone, or in a shared proximity. Next, perhaps you should go by a playground and watch for awhile. Be aware of the possible implications of this if you do (grin).

I don’t know’ will inevitably lead to a visceral awareness of the presence of a single, all encompassing mind. This is what is also known as Buddha mind. It pays a huge dividend to study the concepts and state of being called, ‘Christ Consciousness’ and ‘Buddha Mind’. It also pays off to note that Christ is a state and Jesus was a man who merged into, realized it and became the ‘first fruit of those who slept’. Buddha Mind is also a state whereas Gautama was a man. It’s good to remember (or be aware of) that there have been Buddha’s around for an enormous length of time. Consider the case of the Amitabha Buddha and how long it took him to get to where he can be what he is today.

Read, Jesus the Son of Man by Kahlil Gibran for some real illumination on the master, presented in a profound and telling way. Here is the book, free online. Tell me if you didn’t learn something and weren’t extremely grateful for having the opportunity to do so.

I should point out here that just as there are these rays on the chart I spoke about, there are seven rays that manifest, when white light is shot through a prism and each of you are residents of one of those rays and that determines your affinity toward any of the main seven paths of temporarily enduring faiths, all corrupted and veiled in their truth by those telling you how it is and what it means. They don’t know either. You don’t have to stay on a ray and once you get back through the prism you will find no difference between any of the paths except how they present themselves for particular identity types. I’m speaking from experience here. Ramakrishna, the great Hindu saint, entered into every major religion in the world and experienced enlightenment in each one. This kind of thing is one of the perks of an activated Kundalini. You don’t get the most dramatic reality of this by trying to manipulate the process. Intense yearning and desire for union with the one will make it happen.

Last night on the radio show, I mentioned how no one knows. This grants you a tremendous power if you know how to access and use it. If no one knows then everyone is giving you their version. Truth is at right angles to everything else. It cannot actually be seen. It can be intuited and it can be encountered but that is for another day. “Those who tell do not know and those who know do not tell.” So what is it that I’m doing here? I’m giving you my version. Think of what it means to viscerally understand that everyone is giving you their version. They are describing and defining themselves to you. Depending on your level of attention, which depends on the level of true self awareness, you can find out just about anything about anyone just by watching them. I should point out that, in certain cases, if you are more deeply rooted in the real self, they will be compelled to reveal themselves to you whether they want to or not.

Being in the presence of a real master is unmistakable. There is a presence there, which is the presence of the one mind, either as an identity housed in the person of that master or an awareness of the thing itself made manifest in that master. You might think of it as the difference between an avatar and a maha-avatar. People’s versions vary and so does the sense of what you get from being in their presence. Walk into a large car showroom and talk to a car salesman; talk to a banker, talk to a lawyer, talk to a cop, talk to a hippie and a red neck. Of course they will vary widely within types but you will see as deeply as you are capable that there are things that define us and ways that we define ourselves and this is something everyone should think about, especially at this time of the conclusion of a 26,000 year cycle.

Well, I hope some of this proves as useful to you as it has been to me. It opened an enormous treasure chest that I will never see the bottom of, because no life, not even that of the sun is long enough to exhaust what can be found there.

End Transmission.......

The United States is on the brink of sliding down to a Third World country, as it struggles with massive debts, rising unemployment and a deteriorating economy.

Some of the warning signs that indicate America's fantastic fall from a First World nation include rising unemployment and poverty.

According to Spiegel Online, the United States is recently faced with a new phenomenon called "the new poor."

In Ventura California -- a luxurious resort city -- about 20 percent of the residents are at risk of homelessness.

The once-rich, who have lost their homes, are now forced to sleep in their expensive cars parked in the city's corners, Captain William Finley, the head of the local branch of the Salvation Army said.

He further added that during the past months, the number of people taking advantage of the organization's free meals program, has doubled. Many drive up in their BMWs to receive free food, he went on to say.

Certainly this will be the next Smoking Mirrors (in progress).

Try to avail yourselves of the perspectives presented in today's Visible Origami in the same way you would use 3-D glasses to watch Avatar.

Okay... quiet on the set (explains the constipation). The actors are coming out of their trailers. Places! hovering etc.

Les this Dr Terry D. Jones of Dove World Outreach Center sounds as if he is pissed drunk and in some ways I suppose he is. If what he is advocating wasn’t so serious I would think it funny. I would like to take this opportunity to point out to any my brothers of the Islamic faith that may view this shit that this sort of thing has nothing to do with “REAL” Christianity which is the teachings of Christ but then, if you are a true Muslim, you probably already know this so I regress.

Les I am reading the link you gave to Jesus the Son of Man by Kahlil Gibran and it is already opening doors in my mind and explaining things I had previously found difficult to understand in a theological way. It’s a bit like looking at a familiar scene from a different angle or, as you said, watching Avatar in 3-d. I am seeing things that I didn’t realise where right there in front of me.

I put a comment up today at reflections but I guess it didn’t get through so I will post it below.

Hi les I remember writing a comment some time ago about a place called Garabandal in northern Spain. Apparently Our Lady appeared there in the early 60s with a message for the world. Now before anyone jumps on me, I am not trying to promote catholic prophecy I just want to point out some things that seem to be falling into a very coincidental timeline. The visionaries of Garabandal say that god will give the world three signs. First will come a warning, then a miracle and lastly a chastisement which will be conditional and will depend on how people respond to the first two. Some of the visionaries have described the warning as some sort of revelation of self, like seeing ones-self in the light of God and thus realising the need for a change of heart. All people will see or experience this at the same time no matter where they are in the world.
It will be an awakening of sorts of how we offend God in our dealing with each other. It will cause many to change their evil ways. There will of course be those who will try to explain it all away as some sort of mass hypnosis (for want of a better word) but people will know in their hearts that this will be direct from God. It is said that some will reform and some will just get worse thus sealing their fait for good or evil. The point I am trying to make is this. The visionaries say that all these things will take place within their own lifespan. They are now in their sixties and one has died just last year. It is interesting to me that way back in the 1960s there was no talk of 2012 and all the stuff we hear today about a new awakening. Could it be that Garabandal and other prophecies, not only catholic, could all be tied together in some way like bits of a jigsaw puzzle that is near completion so that the whole picture is now coming into focus? It seems to me that people are beginning to understand the tapestry and the many intertwining threads that make up the picture of life and are making preparations accordingly. Of course there are still some threads hanging and some bits of the puzzle that have still to be worked out and TPTB are taking advantage of these missing pieces to manipulate the board to their own selfish agendas. Some people are trying to fit round pegs into square holes and causing a lot of confusion in the process. Some of TPTB (religious and otherwise) have been doing this for years in order to maintain their grip on power and I am under no allusion (as much as it pains me to say it having invested so much of my life in the catholic faith) that the Catholic Church is deeply involved along with other mainstream religious and world elites.

I just wonder if Garabandal and other prophecies, that now seem to be gathering pace towards fulfilment, are part of this worldwide awakening that is about to hit as we approach 2012???????????????????

Years ago I agreed with myself that I could not proclaim more than : ''So far, this is the most logical explanation I could find'', and that the visible world is an intricate version of the ''non-truth'' in which absolute Truth doesn't exist. As you so elegantly put it, it is a great liberation to cross this barrier. Anyone seeking oneness seriously has to consider abandonning the ''I know'' mantra.

Love to all.

Oh, by the way, I do know how that radio show sounds. I am doing it on purpose for a purpose because all other methods have failed and the bad guys and the disinterested and the vain and the combative won't want to endure me for very long at all.

there will be some significant changes now because I don't have to do this sort of thing any more which is pretend that I have less of a grasp of the situation than Bush had on The Segway or whatever that thing is called.

If it is hard for you, I grant that you will be aware that it is hard for me to but no longer. As comes the morrow there will be no need for the guy pretending to be in the bag because now he's at the other end of the alley. It's called drunken kung fu and I'm not drinking and generally don't so that should be a clue.

I just put this in because I know some of you might get a little uneasy at my methods thinking they are conditions and not methods. They are methods as will now be seen and heard in coming times.

bear with me just a little longer and we can then move into the expected and desired state. Consider this all to be necessary distractions and mechanisms of movement from one place to another.

It's show business and the one thing they weren't looking for and now a certain opportunity for the dark side is past.

I hope you have been enjoying the book by Gibran.

As far as the "Dove" in the video, anger tried to rise up but was quickly replaced by a feeling of pity for someone so fearful and lost. Pity won't keep me from saying "What a clueless dick", but it thankfully takes less effort to dismiss the reactionary component that wants to jump down a throat. It is all for the good, as these creatures are already suffering in hell and piling on is really bad form. I'm just surprised it took him so long to hit the viewer up for cash.....

Funny, too, how a beautiful copy of the Gibran book was the only thing I rescued from an abandoned building a year ago. It has been sitting on the shelf waiting, and now will be explored so as to tune my portion of the one mind to the prevailing frequency. I don't know what attracted it to me, but am grateful to have it on hand.

Peace to all. I love this place you (we) have created. Such a fine collection of hearts and minds.

I'm one of those who have understood intellectually for years the fact that I and most of us don't know. That existence and the universe is a Mystery.

Tantalising and stimulating my curiosity.

I've been consciously saying or thinking the words "I (and we) don't know" frequently for sometime now.

Perhaps the visceral knowing that I don't know will come soon. And if it doesn't it's still all right, and I still wouldn't know.

Many thanks.

I have ordered the Gibran book from Amazon (I don't like reading so much material on the computer). Bought The Prophet when I was 18 (sigh, all those decades ago) and declared it was my bible (I rejected religion at the age of 12). I also bought several of his other books but did not ever come across this one.

Thank you for the marker on my path. Look forward to reading it.

Regarding the costumed self, I don't know who the fellow Shakespeare really was, but he seemed to be tuned into the One Mind. As he wrote, we are all actors playing on the world stage (individuals, individual versions of the One Mind enacting our scripts which we are at liberty to rewrite).

World needs more individuals like you to inspire others to write out the villains of the piece.

It is uncanny how I am able to manifest my thoughts through yours and others´ writings, Les. :)

2 years ago, as I looked down at my father in a hospital bed in the intensive care unit, it suddenly dawned on me that his "costumed self " was not present right then.
Any stranger who entered the room knew absolutely nothing about this man. Nothing about his intellect, his love for music, which "truth" he followed, what books he had read, how many children he had, when he liked to eat dinner, what political party he rooted for or what he had "achieved" in his lifetime.
All "stories" attached to this human being were null and void.

When, after 3 months of being in a coma, he finally recovered...he couldn´t remember whether he liked sugar in his tea.

That, there, was my entire lifes´ lesson about truth and knowing.

Even though every person has another perception of an event, the actual physical events that take place can only have happened one way. To me this says there is an absolute truth, that which really happened, without added subjective terms or emotions.

Such an event can still be classified as good or evil.

Always room for the empirical and Aristotelian perspective. Basically what you are saying is that if a tree falls in the forest and no one sees it it still fell. On the other hand that means that either you leave it in the realm of the unknown or it's projection on an imperial scale.

To Les and blog readers,

if you like Gibran, then most likely you will also greatly appreciate Mikhail Naimy's profound and wonderful book, 'The Book of Mirdad'.

Naimy was a close friend and associate of Khalil Gibran.

I was once personal friends with the niece of Mikhail Naimy, back in the days when i was at Bard College and in NYC, about forty years ago. her last name was Naimy as well.

'The Book of Mirdad' is one of my own all time top favorites. it is a very unique story and teaching. i strongly recommend The Book of Mirdad to anyone who is fond of Gibran.

Thanks for the link to the Gibran book. Good stuff.

There is magic in the air. Seriously. Strange stuff is manifesting into my life out of thin air. Wonderful and weird at the same time. Time and space are becoming very pliable in my world... I think aircraft out of existence, when I'm outside playing, and weirdest yet, was what happened yesterday; my buddy, whom I needed to give a computer disk to, and who doesn't drive much, showed-up at my door to pick the thing up. That might not seem so weird, but he drove-up five minutes after I started to worry about how I was going to get the disk to him, and also meet the lovely lady who was dropping off a cake she'd just baked for me. A carrot cake, my favorite, and made with carrots from her garden to boot.

It's late, I'm a little more than a little spacey, and I don't think I've been able to explain the way things are weird in my life very well. But trust me about the weirdness, I'm a guide :)

I don't know about anyone else, but I'm enjoying the magic of making distractions disappear, even if I can't explain the phenomenon. It's pretty cool to be on top of a mountain and not have any airplanes buzzing around the sky. I wish I could have figured that one out earlier in my life.

wv:bolecta... if it weren't so late, I'd have fun with this one.

For those who are interested in obtaining and reading:

"The Book of Mirdad"

I personally feel its much better to have and read The Book of Mirdad in regular printed form, as the typeset and formating is nicer and more readable... and since this book is such a rare and unique gem among spiritual/metaphysical books, it is nice to have an old-fashioned book in your hands that doesn't require a computer to read it.

However, the problem is, The Book of Mirdad is now out-of-print, and the ones that are currently available for sale on the used book market are rather pricey (ranging anywhere from about $30. dollars, to over $300. dollars per book).

So for those folks here who don't want to spend that kind of money, and you don't mind inferior formatting and readablity, here is an online rendition of
The Book of Mirdad

i highly recommened this book, especially for those who have never read it. if you only read one more book in your entire life, then by all means you definitely should read this book.

i read it and have known about it for nearly 30 years, but oddly, many people have never even heard of it. never the less, it is without a doubt, one of the greatest books ever written.

This human existence is a place of testing. A place of training. It is so, so much more than that.

And yet, it is also so much, much less too.

Those who sacrifice all for what this place offers, gain nothing that endures.

We all know this, and it has been spoken and written many times in many places. It is an earthly inheritance of ours.

This knowledge is. Truth. They are part of our enduring inheritance. Each incarnation, alone or together, for as long as we choose.

Those are part of what has been gifted to us and also what we have earned.

The beauty we see, experience, know, enjoy, is a gift and a guide, to those God-like, no matter how young in spirit.

The pain, misery, lies, covetousness and all manner of evil, and control, are the dark, syrupy sluggish lifeblood of those whose spirit-sparks dim and resonate so low.

This testing and training continues only as long as we will it. Inevitably we hear and follow the heavenly song of glory, or else the siren call of dark destruction.

If your body, soul and spirit can withstand it, you can be truth and light and song, purified, in an instant.

To those who love God, it is endless joy moving and yet poised in a moment of unending perfection, which is true motion and creation.

To those who love darkness and evil, who have fallen for lesser beings and worship those beyond mortal knowing, they are terrified to the core of their trembling, shrieking existence at the loss of all they have sought/lusted for ages within time.

They (seemingly) destroy all in their manic pursuit of one more ounce, one more second, of mortal existence.

Here is a mystery: What is the judgment of those who, knowing good, nevertheless willfully choose unending evil? (many of whom stump up and down the earth even now)

To some it is given, as has been said, to become inhuman, negative beings, and serve forever. Bound. Taking no pleasure in their commanded-by-others doings. Endless labor without joy or fulfillment.

But know this, as dark smoldering motes floating upon a sulphurous, darkened sky, like unto a battlefield, or a wound in the earth, the final fate of so many, and the worst, is this:

They become nerve endings of existence, accustomed as it were to pain and misery, and horror, and despair, and madness, and they are endless, aware conduits of such to all places, especially where children of God come to learn and grow.

Throughout time without end, for here they are forever bound, by their ceaseless choice, which never changes, do they wallow in that which they desired so long and above all else.

That is damnation. And yet they serve a greater good. Thus it is.

Great post.

You're right on about the super sensory perception. And, even more, to its ramifications for one who will explore it. This information has been preserved throughout our timeline, as you said, by Hermeticists; and Pythagoreans, Theosophists, Buddhists, Gnostics (some), Sufis (pre-modern), Gurdjieff, Mouravieff and many others from what I've discovered. I think the Druids scared the jeepers out of Julius Caesar with it. Why, it's an historical thing and probably our birth rite...well, some of us. :)

You offer such wonderful jewels...more deeply rewarding than a bankster's bonus party or a satanist's cremation of care ceremony. And this one is KEY...or so I think (but, then again, what do I know?).

Perhaps off-topic, or, laterally connected: What do you think about Clif High's disclaimer in his last Shape of Things to Come report (15 Aug), at the end, he claims ALL channeling to be phoney and Ascension and working on self to be useless?

OK, the channeling I find to be 95% rubbish, certainly not ALL; discernment is the key. And the Ascension and working on self, like the super sensory perception appears to be key to breaking out of the 'predator's mind'.

Visible said...

Cliff overly generalizes sometimes.I agree that channeling is mostly horseshit but I don't agree with him about the other.

Children have the gift of pure honest observation.
They don't have judgements or pre-conceived notions. Their minds haven't been programed into the binary thinking. "Are you a good witch or a bad witch" says Glenda in the Wizard Of Oz. Dorothy says "oh no I'm not a witch at all, but Glenda can't understand, you must be one or the other.
We must recall how to observe as children do. Our brains have been programed against us. We must un-do, subtract and be still.
Thank you again for all you wisdom , we can learn much from your view

The judgment cometh. And something more. And it requires our human-bound will/attention/desire.

Do not doubt for a moment that the evil ones, from the lowest to the highest, give their every thought and yearning to the satisfaction of low appetites. The more evil they are, the more base, and the greater the harm to others which must ensue.

They chafe when misery and pain and death and destruction is remote or through underlings or dupes. They find some small dark pleasure in acting out in microcosm what they effect on a world-wide scale.

And as the world upheaves, they begin to take a direct part, and begin to cast pretense aside in their personal indulgences, which are nightmare madness echoes through our subconscious.

Howling, razor-edge painful insanity. Loss and rushing. Pulsing, sickening colors and discordant sound. It wells from deep within.

And here is a key: You must find the color, and the sound, which shall accompany your wish for beauteous transformation. Cleansing. Healing. The dawn of a new morning which casts the deepest, darkest shadows from the ends of the earth.

There is only light and glory and harmonious song.

It starts small. It is a point. Upon which the universe may be moved. Turned. Lifted.

They keys are present in full. Complete. They number the divine.

Look within yourselves, ye who will the blessed, awaited, needed, urgent change.

The sound, and the color, and the pattern are within you, in a breathless, hovering, crystalline moment. It is your point in space, your moment in time, which competes the pattern.

And unlocks the ignited wave.

Seeing, it is done.
