Sex and the Single Mind

Dog Poet Transmitting.......

I get a lot of letters. Just about the only thing people don’t ask me about is sex and I am grateful for that. Then again, it’s all sex, everything you think and say and do. Since no one has asked me about it, according to my logic, I should probably talk about it (grin). I’m probably going to be at odds with the understanding of some of the readers because of what I’m going to say but... bear with me. I’m not actually advocating anything. I’m applying it to a perspective. Before I get into the points, let me propose a concept we need to keep in mind. Where we are is where we are at the moment. Most of us are not where we think we want to be. We’re aspiring to it; thinking about it, reacting against what opposes us and generally divided between where we are and where we think we want to be.

One might say that one of the primary problems of life is just this; that we are in one place and wish we were in another, that we are a particular person wishing we were a different person. All of this presupposes that we know in the first place and we don’t. We don’t know much of anything but we assume a great deal. Few of us realize just how much of what we think we are is something we have assumed to be true.

I was, or am, one of those people who took radical steps to change myself and my world. This, as you can imagine, led to all sorts of complications. At the same time, “fortune favors the bold” and “nothing ventured, nothing gained”. There are as many homilies as there are Hallmark greeting cards. I mentioned this propensity of mine to a spiritual master once and he said, “You must not polish the pot so hard that it breaks.”

Any changes you want to make in yourself and your outer world have to come about through inner restraint. The moment you change your mindset by reining in behaviors, the world will change around you. The world is a mirror. Impatience is an automatic obstacle that manifests before you at the intensity of your impatience. Don’t ask god to give you more patience or god just might give you something to be patient about. Sometimes asking for an increase of virtue... or anything... can bring an increased difficulty in life. You may think you want to step right into Elijah’s chariot and ride up into the heavens but you can’t storm the gates of heaven; this I know from personal experience.

It’s in the simple things that we do in every moment that brings success or failure. It is in our relationships with those around us; our daily chores, the thoughts and emotions that we entertain where we display our readiness to be advanced in understanding.

People want to know if they should be a vegetarian and are concerned that attempts they are making leave them weak. I am much benefited by my diet but I have seen a lot of vegetarians that are not in good health. What is the point of doing the right thing in the wrong way? Sometimes you have to continue as you are while you aspire to change. On the matter of workable vegetarianism, one might profit from checking out macrobiotics and also investigating the diet of those cultures where vegetarianism has been extant for centuries. That’s what I would do.

People go just as crazy through religious and spiritual mania as they do in materialism. Balance is what you want. Harmony is what you want. If you are lacking these you want to get them first.

A wise soul does not project their limitations upon the divine or ascribe human characteristics to it. This is anthropomorphism and this is how you get people who commit all manner of crimes in the name of god because their god is just a bigger version of themselves. This is true ass backwardness. Don’t do this. Impress upon yourself the fundamental awareness of your own ignorance and helplessness and work toward a complete and utter inner surrender to that which is- and always will be- beyond your comprehension. Only god can know god.

I said everything is sex and that’s close to being true. Take a look around you at the way things work and fit together. Notice how plugs go into sockets for electric facility. Consider phrases like, social intercourse, verbal intercourse and use your imagination in order to see that things are going in and out of each other all the time. Note also how all technology is an adaptation on or for the human form. You can have sex with each other, with demons and with god. The direction of your attraction determines this. Why not make god your lover?

Where is god? God is in everything. Your eyes are organs of intercourse. Your speech is a medium of intercourse. Your thoughts and feelings are mediums of intercourse. Your actions reflect the act of intercourse done well or badly. We live in a world of brutal, selfish and impatient lovers. A true master, in concert with the one, can make a simple gesture and transfer more in the way of lasting satisfaction than any act of physical intercourse you will ever engage in.

The desire for sexual union wells up in all of us. We differ in the way we manifest it. You might think of it as a fireman with a high powered hose in his hands. Most people do not have the focus and control to direct this force. I think you can imagine all sorts of cartoon scenarios of firemen and hoses; children in fireman outfits. I used to enjoy going to places where people are engaged in their mating rituals and watching them at work. I got a great deal of amusement from this. We need to investigate the subtle dishonesties of our selfish nature. We hide a lot of this from ourselves because it compromises our assumptions about ourselves.

Everything we do is a sexual act and we do these things with the same lack of control that we practice in the act of sex. People eat unconsciously and you can add most things to the list. We devour each other. One way or another we are all, “One Eyed Jacks” to some degree.

Cultivate a love affair for the divine. Pine and long for the divine. Speak to the divine as a lover and you might be very surprised how quickly you get results you were not getting before. Abandon your anthropomorphic projections, while still maintaining the understanding that the divine is present in everything and everyone. God actually looks at you through the eyes of others and often speaks to you through others but you are not hearing the divine. This is the greatest curse of materialism. It trivializes something that is beautiful beyond human understanding. Every human activity has divine implications but we have ‘earthed’ them to serve our appetites and desires.

We become like that which we love and admire. “Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery”. People may think they are going to win by doing it their way and the world gives the impression that they are winning but they are eating sand for breakfast. They are copulating with corpses. They are dancing with the dead in the crypts of a darkling world.

The divine is a living presence. It is not something far off unless you have moved far off from it. Even then, it is very much there and only your perception of the distance exists, which is... another assumption. Even a very wicked person can come to grace quickly were their heart to change. The divine is very susceptible to love, more so than any person. ‘Those who love much are forgiven much’. You are the reason that the divine made and ensouled you. That might not make a lot of sense right away. You are the crown of creation. We need to act like that.

It is how and what we engage in every day that defines us. If we see the divine we will find the divine. Have no concern for what the world may think of your peculiar malady. The mocking dissonance of cowardly hearts is all the evidence you need that you are going in the right direction. The universe is actually making love to you every day. It is our unfortunate response to this that makes it seem otherwise. We abandon our simple, childlike trust because we have seen our trust violated and have violated the trust of others. In this way we forfeit one of our greatest protections. Not all assumptions are wrong. There are some assumptions that we very much ought to make.

Well... food for thought, for me as well as for you; that sexual force can go in all kinds of directions but really it only goes up or down. It is that force which is responsible for all of the greatest art of the ages and all of the cruelties and destructions as well. Use it wisely. Save some oil for your lamp.

Greetings Les, my first post. I have been reading your blogs for over a year now, all of them, never missing one.

I have some news to tell you. I have just quit my job as a corporate salesman of whom sells capital equipment to the leisure industry, AUD 100,000K pa. I'm sick of selling stuff to sheeple, goods that they don't NEED. I have a massive mortgage and going nowhere, backwards in fact, not sure how i'm going to pay that but i know i will be okay.

The product I sell has one of those pentagram logs, the symbol is there....we all know what these are about. Am I afraid, shit yeah, but i just don't know...(grin). What i do know is I am sick of eating sand for breakfast

This is my first step to help you in your quest...

Keep up the great work Les. I have my gold, silver and a burgeoning veggie garden.

"Sometimes asking for an increase of virtue… or anything… can bring an increased difficulty in life".

I read you loud and clear Les.

Thankyou my friend, my love to you...

TRANSLATION

The Supreme Personality of Godhead said: It is lust only, Arjuna, which is born of contact with the material mode of passion and later transformed into wrath, and which is the all-devouring sinful enemy of this world.

PURPORT

When a living entity comes in contact with the material creation, his eternal love for Kṛṣṇa is transformed into lust, in association with the mode of passion. Or, in other words, the sense of love of God becomes transformed into lust, as milk in contact with sour tamarind is transformed into yogurt. Then again, when lust is unsatisfied, it turns into wrath; wrath is transformed into illusion, and illusion continues the material existence. Therefore, lust is the greatest enemy of the living entity, and it is lust only which induces the pure living entity to remain entangled in the material world.
"The origin of everything is the Supreme Brahman." Therefore the origin of lust is also in the Supreme. If, therefore, lust is transformed into love for the Supreme, or transformed into Kṛṣṇa (God) consciousness — or, in other words, desiring everything for Kṛṣṇa(God) — then both lust and wrath can be spiritualized. Hanumān, the great servitor of Lord Rāma, exhibited his wrath by burning the golden city of Rāvaṇa, but by doing so he became the greatest devotee of the Lord. Therefore, lust and wrath, when they are employed in Kṛṣṇa(God) consciousness, become our friends instead of our enemies.

Les,

I have found through internal reflection and through looking at the painting that your words portray that I have traveled through life to come back to the place where I started. I went through all of these trials and triumphs to find myself looking at and understanding life the same as I when I was a child. The wonder and beauty of life reborn.

I wonder if we are born with the knowledge in us that we spend a lifetime seeking. This world quickly creates a fog that hides that inner connection to God that is always there.

Les, your words are like brush strokes. With each day a beautiful piece of art comes more into focus.

I always felt that God spoke to us from all that we hear and see. Even the bum on the corner can say what you need to hear.

God bless,

Les, I was going to write that you've got to stop reading my mind and writing about it, but Rebel 4E beat me to it!

It isn't impatience per se that I suffer from though; it's wanting to physically DO something about the ugliness and evil sicked onto us by the political elite and their masters.

"Do not polish the pot so hard that it breaks!"

That really resonated in my mind and stopped me in my tracks. We are where we are meant to be, regardless of where we think we want to be or should be.

Right! Got it!

More thanks, Les. You are building up something more precious than gold.

Thank Goodness for your blogs!

You really push all the keys in the right sequence everytype you write... and I'm not alone in thinking this, judging from the comments.

A really positive mind-romp.
God a light? Just kidding!... and fingers crossed - hope Goat's got plenty senses of humour.

That explains what "hee, hee" was up to... trying to teach me a valuable lesson as The One became three kids robbing me at knife-point. Their eyes were prettyugly glazed, poor little, neglected dears. So I didn't think, I just reached for my empty wallet. Lot's of cursing and spitting and knife waving. Bye, bye, have a nice day you sad sacks of shucks. If I had been packing (which I don't) I'm ashamed to say (ah, shoot! not really - just a figure of speech) it would have been a severe pleasure to blow'em away and have a satisfying Brutal Willie moment and accompanying snappy line.

I know it's all probably my fault and these kids were just blameless bearers of karma.

God! just imagine the hells I'm going to have to go to for not being able to control my, later RAGE (read, fear) and my torturous and twisty imagengine.

Hell, I already knew I had it in me; vigilante geekiness, will kill at the till if someone oversteps the discretionary line.

Allweighs thought dose nasty thoughts must be to balance out all the good deeds. Ok, ok, not lots of big noble deeds - but even less bad ones (could well be wrong on that, off course) and it often surprises (nay, it's more a rule than an exception, so let's say - disappoinment, foralmostfun) that I have difficulty in being mean.

Mainly because of the horribly addictive bittersweet taste.

I recall being the baddest school-bully-supreme until I was eight and got biffed by some other young rascal who wanted the crown. What a relief that was (not at the time) - a little tap on the solarp and I went from standing to sitting upright in the middle of the playground, letting out a curdled boo-hoo and plenty of tears to go - it didn't hurt anything other than my pride.

Same with my trio of angels the other day. No harm done, just got to get rid of all that pride before I catch a real fall.

Ideas, anyone?

Tantric Yoga

Every woman embodies the secret fundamental forces that control the universe. By correctly joining himself to this line of force man can align himself to the creator and experience divine union. This divine feminine has been referred to as Ishtar in Babylon, Sophia in Greece, Diana in Rome, Kali in India and so on and so on. It is the search for Cybele.

Let us be clear to begin with as many have debased the creative function into something more akin to debauchery and biological function. The wasting of the seed is definitely a downward spiral. Control of the vital force is the goal we are speaking of here. This is better understood using the teachings of the Tao and I Ching where orgasm is forbidden to the seeker.

Control of sexual mores has long been exerted by various religions and especially by Paul who was a traitor and preached the sexual act was degrading and sinful. It is a concept religious bodies must insist upon to contro human adherents.

The goal of Tantric Yoga is to prolong the sexual union and discover a greater vision of himself and the universe. The goal is not for brief seconds but for hours. This does not result in depletion but revitalization and union with the one. The singer will hit higher notes and the poet become morre creative.

The union of the divided positive male and negative female is the same force that causes the world to spin on it's axis, the grass to grow. You are bringing the mostly positive personality of the male into the field of a predominantly feminine one. It becomes a conduit of cosmic force. You might convince man to shun this union but never the beasts of the field although to them it most likely appears as a biological function.

We must be careful however to separate the highest aspirations of man from debauchery, sensuality for the purpose of sensationalism and vampirism. We are talking about two different aspects here. We do not have to become eunuchs, the lewd or lechers. The idea is the combining an electric field with a magnetic field. There is the explanation of Jesus alluding to looking upon a woman with adulterous thoughts and looking upon her as a connection to the infinite.

The chaste who can best be described as sexually dysfunctional are different from the debauchee only in degree. The goal or destiny of the human soul is to reach completion through the combining of polar opposites. The libido is not simply seeking lust but yearning for completion.

A man's spinal column is similar to the earth's hollow stone core running through the center of the earth. The female spine is negative and the male positive. These two opposing forces cause the earth to spin. They make the world go round for the adherents of tantric yoga as well. As above so below, the playground of the Vedic Gods. Mt. Meru if you will! It is the dark moon powers of the female which can spark the pineal gland and force it to emit "the fiery wings of mercury."

Understand that in no way shape or form am I trying to present myself as one who is enlightened. The study of yoga is a lifetime proposition. I do feel qualified to clear up some minor misconceptions I see from time to time however.

I don't want to sound like Bill Clinton defining what is really is. If the goal is to seek a closer union with the creator it is wise to have a good working concept of what the creator consists of. Yogic Science defines that very clearly as vital or life force.

Part II
Sometimes these blocks are entirely too small

As I have mentioned before Gregori Rasputin most definitely spent some time among Siberian monasteries before entering the royal house in St. Petersburg. This is not debatable. He displayed all the qualities we know as that of an enlightened master.

Those of the era and historians of today all seem to have varying descroptions of this man and the legacy he left. I don't think many would argue that as with many saints they do not live up to the perceptions of the common man. By this I mean he most definitely employed tantra but was branded a sexual degenerate. The fact he could successfully predict the future was of no consequence.

Rasputin channeled the vital force into saving the life of a child many times who suffered from hemophilia. This would not have been possible without his knowledge of the ability to collect vital force and transmit it.

Rasputin enjoyed madeira wine and women. In short he lived life and was quoted as saying our souls belong to God our bodies belong to us. For this he was greatly misunderstood by the masses.

I have been around for awhile and I still say wine women and song are tops on the list. Some of us may reach enlightenment and maybe not. The point is keep doing whatever you think is right.

I see only what you see but yet I understand what I see.....Lord Rama Krishna

Les thanks,
I have tried over the past year or two to focus my lustful ideas while in meditation. The best Ive come to is is a vision of the navel, cirlce, or moon? I have thought much about the love I share with oneness and have seen its affect on myself, I wish to love more!!! This is hard with words or ideas, but easier with the heart and sounds, ie energy? Still a have to use symbols to relate these feelings? Thanks for a wonderful post, I didnt see this one coming!!!!

I don't think you are an abomination though, Les. Just a timely coincidence? Nah.

"It is said that Indra, the King of heaven, is very lusty. Once he tactfully had sexual intercourse with the wife of a great sage, and when the sage learned about this, he cursed the lusty Indra with a curse that put vaginas all over his body. Being very ashamed, Indra fell down at the lotus feet of the great sage and begged his pardon. Being compassionate, the sage turned the vaginas into eyes; therefore Indra possesses hundreds and thousands of eyes all over his body. Just as Lord Brahma and Lord Siva have many faces, the King of heaven, Indra, has many eyes."

Im just putting this out there? Is this "lifeforce" spoken or in the mind? Is it you or an idea? I would like to think using the right hand too much isnt killing me!(more like a time suck) But I use me and hand, as parts of myself, and they are not. To, "lifeforce" can only be yourself, or what you think is yourself, but I say its just plain old ego? There maybe "lifeforce" for sure, but you move with it, and oneness of it, be it, and not use it? If it does something to you, you are really doing something to yourself, its an idea you give life too? Im just saying no worries, dont fear what you think you arent, because your arent what you think you are?

The American Wilhelm Reich discovered back in the 50s what he called orgone energy. It is the same thing the ancient referred to as prana. Reich was imprisoned and killed over his discoveries however.

Reich describes orgone energy as life energy in all living organisms, earth, the atmosphere and outer space. He called it the energy which flowed in the sexual embrace noting that all matter is surrounded by it and two streams of energy flow together and join during orgasm.

He described how two forms of energy connect with each other and superimpose forming orgasm, cyclones, hurricanes and galaxies. He built several orgone accumulators as well as weather manipulators noting there is less atrophy where more orgone is accumulated.

If you look at the pictures they were large metal boxes some containing layers of steel wool.

He is really using his own scientific method to describe what the ancients referred to as prana. The yogi or better yet someone simply trying to maintain good health is basically trying to become an orgone accumulator.

Hi Le, best
If I can paraphrase your words "Any changes you want to make in your world come though restraint"

Something is telling me this is an important concept.

Through restraint, obviously, of self. And, it's appetites, urges, habits, propensities, emotions and even possibly, paramount, ideas and concepts. You can tell I especially like the latter:)
Reason, partly, largley or totally, because this will affect the ability to attune with what some call God in ones role as a good lover. Either help or hinder.
Am I keeping up OK?
Then, after that, its simply an issue of keeping it in mind?

I am afraid many men have tasted the bitter fruit of trying to explain to their wives she is an orgone accumulator and the more accumulators you have the better for all concerned.

Everyone needs love, but human beings are notoriously bad at it. Who can claim that they are capable of perfectly unconditional love? Even if we were, our quantity of love is limited. Add the well-known human tendencies for illusion, mistakes, imperfection and cheating, and it becomes clear that we cannot expect satisfaction in love from human sources.

Love of God is another thing. His love is not only unconditional and perfect, it is also eternal, unlimited and pure. It also comes in any flavor we might desire. There is a well-known process for experiencing this eternal love affair with God, given in the ancient scriptures. So why don't more people adopt it?
